Town in England Growing all their Own Food

Inspiration of the day:

The town of Todmorden in West Yorkshire, UK plans to grow all its own vegetables by 2018!  This is a town of 15,000 people, with a varied socio-economic mix of residents.  They are planting herbs, vegetables and berry vines all over town, and encourage anyone who wants some of the produce to take what they need.

Town-sized self sufficiency, a huge goal that will move them quickly in the direction of taking control of their food system.

Garden revolution.  Love it.

Next up regional self-sufficiency!
