Thelma or Louise laid their first egg! They are Black Copper Marans, known for laying dark brown "chocolate" eggs.
Here is another view with context for size. The comparison egg is a medium sized egg, so you can see how her first egg is pretty small.
I really need to figure out how to tell them apart....hopefully I will find another dark brown egg today!
