Cardoon Update

I am really pleased with my cardoon.  I love this plant.  It is huge and green and completely loaded with blooms. The first blooms are erupting in flower and the bees love them.

This plant has created its own ecosystem.

The ants are farming aphids.

The lady bugs are eating the aphids and laying eggs.
The lady bug larvae are then eating most of the aphids!
